WMS will hold the annual Spring Showcase on May 5. Students will display their artwork and musical groups will perform in the pit. Open house hours are from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Tales of Terror from Nightmare High School
The Watertown Middle School play "Tales of Terror from Nightmare High School" will be presented to the public on Thursday, April 30, 7 p.m. in the D.D. Miller Auditorium. It will be presented to students on Friday, May 1 at 9 a.m. Middle school students are encouraged to wait for the Friday performance.

Inservice / Early Dismissal April 29
Students will be dismissed at 12:30 on Wednesday, April 29. This is an in-service day for district staff. Eighth grade Cyclone students will participate in mock interviews that morning for language arts class. In addition, all eighth graders will travel to the high school for a tour of the high school building and mini-sessions regarding their freshman year.

Hot Food…Hot Topics "Three Courses of Conversation"
Parents join us for a night of "Hot Food…Hot Topics" …Three Courses of Conversation on Tuesday, April 7th from 6:30 – 8:30p.m. at County Fair Banquet Hall. This event is for parents and their children in grades 6th – 12th. The evening will be focusing on three topic areas:
Parents, Parties & Underage Drinking
Tobacco – Not Just a Gateway Drug
Teen Dating Boundaries & Healthy Relationships
It’s never too early to talk to your child about these issues. This evening will give you tools and information as to how to start and continue having conversations with your child…and why not around the dinner table? Speakers for the evening are Darcy Jensen, Community Prevention Specialist from Prairie View Prevention Services; Brandon Carmichael, Smoking Got Me.com; and Austin Vanderzee & Julie Evans from Truth4Youth.
Seating is limited and a free dinner will be provided, so reserving your seats is important.
